Smile and Show Me Your Meat!

Day: 188

Day 188-2.JPG

“Smile and Show Me Your Meat!” said the cute friendly Swede taking my picture.

All I could do was burst out laughing. It may have been a harmless literal translation from Swedish meaning for me to smile so big you could see my gums, but after most of the day riding around from vineyard to vineyard on bicycle and the extreme amout of Malbec (the regions grapes) I had drank it left me barely able to hold my wineglass while I continuously giggled.  My laughter subsided after a few minutes but even now as I write this it is making me smile.

That was the highlight of my day, but the rest wasn´t bad either, riding around all day with six Swedes and one other American, drinking, eating, drinking, drin…..(I think you get it.)

Great to hear of your journies Rob. Though we my not as readers leave you postings, we share of you fondly and think of you lovingly. Grandpa is here at home with us now and is trying to comprehend the scope of your travels.
His move is fast approaching. See you soon oh lone sojourner.

With all of that booze, it’s a good thing that you’ve got auto focus and especially IS.

    Rob,
Look like a lot of fun. Do you care for Malbec? I don’t like it unless its blended. The vines are beautiful. See you soon. love you, Mom

You look beat up in the “my” pic. It appears your having a lot of fun with the girls there. Is that why you have been sticking around?

I just stumbled upon your blog last night, I was intrigued by the title cause it said “photography tour”. I spent 2 hours catching up on your travels (I only made it to August). It was cool to read from the beginning to see how you got prepared and wrapped things up at home. I’m inspired by your always positive and carefree style or travel. Your photography is wonderful. I’m looking forward to hearing of your continuing adventures and seeing more eye candy.

    Cheers from North Hollywood,
    Trista T.
