I've been reading a lot about hiking the JMT lately. That's something I will definitely do some day. How long are you going to take for the journey? I've read you can power through it in 2 weeks, but I think when I get around to it I'll spend at least 3 weeks so I can stop at some choice locations along the way. China sounds like an amazing place to travel. Any chance you'll be going through the Henan province and checking out the Shaolin temple there? Oh man, I’m so jealous.
