Mom Says I'm Running Away

Sometimes I think a hangover is the greatest way to get astounding night shots. I wasn’t up until 11am, followed by a couple of hours on the internet chatting with my Dad and blogging. I immediately chased that with a nap until roughly four. A waste of a day to be sure, but the tour I wanted to go on today was full and the skies outside gray.

Wandered the streets for a few hours, finding the shot above in the wrong light, and a few others photos; a couple that I liked, lots that I didn’t. Finally Simon and Amanda showed up, equally hungover, and we headed out to see what nightlife on a Friday night in Xi’an is like.

Once again it was extremely late before bedtime. Fortunately I choose not to be excessively bombed today. I do have to go see like 10,000 Terra Cotta Warriors tomorrow.
