Mom Says I'm Running Away

After Day: 303

I was going to create a day 304 post, but all that happened was we drove from Sequoia to the coast, hoping to get a beach campground or hotel. Only to find them all occupied and had to make our way home. I didn’t actually get any shots I liked either.

In other, more exciting news, I submitted the above shot (click on it to see it larger) to National Geographic’s monthly “Your Shot” contest and had it selected for todays “daily dozen”. Essentially (from what I’ve read), this is the pool of pictures from which they select two each month for publication in their magazine. Which would be extremely cool if I don’t say so myself.
