“That’s an expensive booty call” replied Grandpa when I told him I had dropped $900 to fly to the other side of the world to see a girl. I just gave him a smirk.
“Well if it works, I guess you have to try.”
So, with Grandpa’s blessing, now I am traversing the world on three separate flights, to escape the Southern Californian wildfires and get to the sweaty-hot City-state of Singapore, 1 degree north of the equator.
My day consisted of ONT->SFO, SFO->NRT, NRT->SIN; and roughly 24 hours of travel, at the same time still being slightly beat up from Daniels birthday party the night before.
