Time Apart
In LA:
The days go by and we save, for our future together, for our wedding, for the unexpected. We have been apart way to long and it will be longer yet until we hold each other again. We talk on the phone as a poor subsitiute for contact, I try to make her laugh and she does the same for me. We imagine the life we will build together, the life we have already begun to build, and smile. The smiles are forced through hope, and our love. We know thing are going to work, but time apart gets harder with each sunrise…
