The FamilyMoon
Day: 449
Today (in reality about a week ago, because I am late in blogging) the FamilyMoon began in full. Felicia and I have dreams of a year long Honeymoon throughout Nepal, Tibet, India, Australia, East Africa, The ‘Stans, and Europe sometime in the future, so we renamed this 4 day endeavor to go with the group of 13 of us that made it up to Phuket, Thailand for a few days in the sun.
The guestlist was huge – Felicia and I, My Dad, Mom, Step-Dad, Step-Mom, Sister, two brothers and their significant others and my two best friends Ed and Daniel.
After the short 1 1/2hr plane hop from Singapore to Thailand we checked in the the Sugar Palm Resort on Kata Beach (US$38/night per room!) and proceeded to do mass wandering and eating. We all ate the day away and made reservations for a snorkeling tour tomorrow. I for one really needed the rest of an early night…

Long time reader, first time comment… congrats to you both – the wedding pics are awesome. In regards to your year long honeymoon – you guys cant go to australia and and leave out New Zealand – just kidding, but it is so close. If you do make it here (NZ) i would love you show you both around! Also if you give me an idea of timings Rob i can recommend you to any of my friends getting married – you could be their wedding photographer and make some travel money on the side
to fund your trip here. Worth a thought anyway. Can you see my email address with my comment?
