Reminiscing…
September 22nd, 2010:
This afternoon I began to select pictures for the blog about Ivory & Misha’s wedding from a couple of weeks ago, but I got distracted while browsing my enormous photo library:
Distracted by images of our wedding, when I said my vows to the most astounding woman I could have ever found. I posted a few pictures and a time line after the wedding, but since I spent my afternoon revisiting these spectacular images by Justin Mott, I thought I would share them with everyone reading this as well.
It’s been 1 year, 2 months and 18 days since I said the words I that express the way I felt about Felicia, the way I still feel everyday, the way I will continue feeling as the world spins around us for many years to come. This blog began as a tale of my sojourn around the world, I have been many places, yet each and everyday I am amazed as I wake up next to a beautiful woman who found me on the plateaus of Tibet, who has paddled a hollowed out tree through the Amazon with me, braved volcanoes with me, who has given up her life and her homeland to come live in a foreign country with me, and someone who will go on any adventure at the drop of a hat “just because”.
This adventure that is life gets better and better each day, and now I have the opportunity to adventure with “my wife, my equal, my lover and my best friend, to the end of our days.”
Thank you, Felicia, for everything.
(P.S. – I had her proof read this post, and she cried)
My vows, written by me, peppered with quotes by Ayn Rand.
Me, with my Grandfather’s old medium format camera that I used to shoot a couple rolls of 120 throughout the day. Unfortunately, Grandpa couldn’t make the 20 hour journey to Singapore
Breakfast with the Bestmen, while Felicia gets ready. Notice the pile of cameras on the table (even at my own wedding I couldn’t not take pictures)
Felicia and I dressed for our Tea Ceremony.

Offering tea to Felicia’s parents.
We did our photo shoot in the National Museum of Singapore – classic architecture, with air conditioning!
Not exactly sure what I was thinking.
Felicia’s father, Arthur, always had a smile on his face, and I was pleased to have the time I did with him.
My father and I.
Yes, the fireworks were not allowed, but we figured all the sparklers would burn out before they told us not to do it. Asking forgiveness is easier than permission.
Facebook Comments:

Aww thanks for sharing your beautiful love story and wedding pics Rob and Felicia! I am so glad I met you guys and hopefully we’ll get a chance to work together again real soon!
Thanks for the great reminders of a wonderful day.
The rest of us think she is pretty awesome also.
As a father it thrills me to see my son so happy in love.
