Santa Crawling V4.0

Intoxicated Claus:

Whats better than merely celebrating Christmas? Celebrating Christmas dressed as Santa Claus!
Whats better than merely celebrating Christmas dressed as Santa Claus? Celebrating Christmas dressed as Santa Claus whilst drinking too much!
…and that’s what we did! For the 4th year in a row we gathered a dozen Santas (and one Frosty!) and set out on [...]

Staycating

Early December:

My amazing wife went and did something amazing. While I guess I shouldn’t find that all too surprising in itself, this time she went above and beyond and got us a deluxe ocean view room at the Shangri-la Santa Monica for $6. Some internet reverse auction or something.  But we decided to take full [...]

When September Comes

Early September:

Been a mellow week or so, spent a few days in my Dad’s truck running boxes from Grandpa’s house in Orange County to Moms house in Riverside, we are quickly filling her garage.  The multiple 60-mile roundtrips had a soothing momentum to them, just blasting the music and letting my face get pummeled by [...]

Trisha and Phil

Another Saturday Night:

It was a beautiful Southern California August night, and Trisha and Phil got married. They let me take part in this special day and document it as it happened.  Everything went beautifully, and I just want to congratulate them again on there special day.
I think being married myself is opening my eyes more [...]

Back Home

Over the Jet Lag:

So I am back in the land of wonderful sun, dry weather, cheese, and beautiful blue skies. Home sweet home in California.

64E

Waiting:

Sitting in Singapore’s Changi airport reading a love letter from my wife, who I probably won’t get to see for 3 more months.
Waiting for my dreaded 17 hour flight, where I get to sit bitch (the middle) in seat 64E for the entire way.
Even in the midst of all this I still love my life.

Felicia’s Other Grandma

10 Years:

Felicia’s mother was heading out to see her mothers ashes today in a temple across town and invited Felicia, Arthur and I to come along, today was the 10 year anniversary of her death.   Just like we head out to peoples graves on special days and lay flowers on their headstones, the Buddhists will [...]

Little Birthday Piggies

Accck!!! I’m 30!:

So today is my birthday… and I am 30…
Anyways, since I missed Felicia’s birthday a couple of weeks ago in while I was in California, we decided to have a combined birthday fest at the uber-fancy Shangri-La Hotel buffet here in Singapore.  Unfortunately, since it was midweek we thought we would have no [...]
